Job Title: CRE/PE Telecoms Project Engineer

Established in 2002, our client is renowned for delivering outstanding mission-critical solutions in telecoms, power and signalling – predominantly in Rail, Utilities and Subsea environments. They are a Principal Contractor (PC) for Network Rail and an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) with National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) accreditation and have world-class multifunctional in-house design and build capability.
They are looking for an experienced CRE/ Rail Project Engineer with SISS/Data/ Fibre to work in the central belt and the Highlands of Scotland.
You must be a recognised CRE (Contractors Responsible Engineer)
It is essential that you have a proven background as Telecoms CRE with the skills to engage with the Telecoms counterpart s
Educated to degree level / HNC or ONC –
Detailed design with knowledge of the following systems, CCTV, CIS and Displays, PABX, PA, SDH, Radio, Security Systems, LAN’s, WAN’s, Entertainment, Cabling and Power Supplies, Access control/Clocks.
This Role will include you to be;
You will be the main point of contact for delivery standards and progress meetings. It is essential that you have a technical knowledge of Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS)
Accountability for all telecoms deliverable, acting as reviewer
Interface with other multidisciplinary designers, contractors and Project Engineers
Produce / manage the production of drawings, specifications and technical documents in accordance with GRIP design stages
